Great shave and video mate! I'm glad you enjoyed the Fatip closed comb slant, I have just ordered the open comb grande slant and open comb grande original as I think I will enjoy the bigger handle and I like abit of blade feel too. I think for the price of Fatip you can't go wrong and they're made of brass too unlike some razors, unless you spend a fortune on stainless! :)

I'm glad you like it. Most slants are smooth, but very efficient. The Parker 55 SL is aggressive.

@@Double-Y If you like the Lo Storto and prefer the bigger handle of the Grande, then maybe you will love the Mercur 39c.

It's in my plans to try it in the future, haven't tryed any of the Mercurs yet but will at some stage.

I have the Merkur 39C and get more blade feel and irritation on the curved, contoured parts of my face--the neck and chin. On smooth surfaces like the cheeks, it's so smooth and nice.

Just got into DB safety shaving really enjoying your videos. Started with the muhle r89 but now prefer parker razors as they are more aggressive. What's your favourite razor?

That's a really hard question, it kinda depends on the day, the hardest thing when i don't have a new one to try is the choice i have to make and it always changes from day to day, i think with the more i get the harder it becomes. It looks rather funny... Are we 100% sure the slant style wasn't originally just created by someone accidentally running over a box of razors with a truck and just try to pass the twisted end result off as a new "invention"? 😉
