The underground is where you gotta reside now. Same exact thing happened to rock music. It was amazing during the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's. By 2000 everything turned pop. Record companies were now completely taken over by the ruling class. So real music has to move underground. I tell all the boomers that say, "new music is trash." They're right that the radio is trash, but the art never died. Artists that changed my life aren't on the radio. The blood Brothers, the fall of Troy, fear before the march of flames, Elliot Smith, MF DOOM, Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, etc etc. It's all DIY or else you gotta play with the devil (industry).

(My Untold story of a line that Fat Joe used) Back in 1992 when I was 20 years old Growing up in the South Bronx... it was myself plus 4 other guys in a Rap Cypher On Jackson ave. Near these Projects called "Moore Houses" One was doing the beatbox... and the rest of us were rapping. We was there for about 10min.. then out of the blue Fat Joe walked up on us. We all knew Joe was about to blow up soon because we always heard him on Kid Capri mix tapes and he was rolling with Lord Finesse! 💪. So he wanted to get in the Freestyle session with us. 💪. 2 of my friends rapped... Then I went 3rd then Joe went after Me. NOW, I still remember to this day the rhyme that I said back then. I said.... I'm the Lyrical Master -- I freestyle Faster-- I'm like a Bomb when it ticks... a Disaster-- You can not face me-- Erase me-- Or Chase me-- I drop tunes like the late "COUNT BASIE". (I said more.. but it was that part that goes down in history) SO..... Joe must have remembered that "COUNT BASIE" part... Because that next Year on his 1st single which is this song.... He said something about "COUNT BASIE". 😂😂. It may sound crazy to everyone that's reading this..... But my boys was like Yooooooo wasn't that in your rhyme when we was rappin with Joe??!!! He changed a few words up.... But he still said that part. 😂😂. 0:26 Alot of years have passed.... I'm 47 now, and whenever I connect with my old friends and we talk about the old days.. (Boom Bap Era)... Somebody allllways brings that up. 😂😂 SALUTE TO REAL HIP HOP!!! FLOW JOE IS A CLASSIC! 💪💪💪💪

Joey Crack is a legend and always has a pulse on the culture. 1995, he discovered Pun. 2015, he discovered Nutrabullet and cardio. What will he do next? 😂 Just playin. 😂 Respect to Joe. Great story teller, smart business man, humble and very giving of his knowledge earned over years in life & hip hop. If you were starting out in hip hop or any part of the music industry, you couldn't ask for a better mentor than Fat Joe. He's helped many.

I was just looking up Fat Joe for fun and I usually get into the historical setting so I wanted to see how long he was active and I discovered this gem. Hella crazy how far he's evolved and how hip hop itself evolved. I'm gonna be slappin this for a while.
