I had the same problem with my 07 gsxr750. Previous owner had a lot of LED lights at one point and they’re were grounding. About half a roll of electrical tape “fixed” it

At those speeds you do not need such gloves. You can ride barehanded. It is the same if the traffic strikes back.

​@Reaper_01 it depends if you hit something or you slide. I've slid with those gloves before and I just held my hands in a fist and I got 1 scratch on my knuckles. Gear matters if you slide if you crash hard no gear or airbag vest will save you. It's part of the bike life which I think adds to why we love it so much
