Just like u didn’t do the quest for reverse temple track cause u can do the task without. I still dont think u should be able to do quest requirements for clues when u don’t have it and just drop them for new clues. just feels more like the the tasks are the main point and not abusing clues for to many unevessary unlocks without having tasks

clues are how you get many quests done. without them, u wouldnt have many done until like the hard/elite tier. and trust me if u couldnt complete quests for clues u would almost never finish mediums+. it would have less than 10% success rate

@ Ofc, u wouldn’t have many quests done, but I think that’s just part of the limitation u set for urself with ur randomiser. It just feels less unique to me if u wanna do quests for a taks u can go on doing without them. So unless it’s actually hard locking u for a task I just don’t see the point in making a task way more rewarding than it should be.

I dont get why you finished horror from the deep if it was not necessary according to your rules. Also shouldnt your rule set say that you have to get the lumberjack piece via skill? You started the myreque quest instead of skilling. Either the rules are complicated or you are taking exceptions when it's convinient. Don't take me wrong, I like the series, but this gets me confused.

@darkydan3705 so i had to start horror from the deep for a hard clue step (top floor lighthouse emote clue). You are allowed to finish any quest you have started from tasks as long as you have all of the requirements. As for the lumberjack outfit. yes technically its possible to get from skilling but it requires redwood logs and forestry so that means i'd have to get 90 wc AND technically complete forestry tasks on the way so its more reasonable to not do skilling and go do the quest. When choosing how to accomplish a task, the heirarchy is not set in stone. Things have to still be within reason. Like a previous example is when i needed to get crafting to obtain blue dhide for hard clues. You can get them from drops but it wasnt reasonable to expect me to kill creatures way out of my combat range even though drop > skill on the rules. If you got any other questions, i gotchu! Sorry that it's a lil confusing
