Brother sometimes I’m wondering with school you went to for Journalism the way you are asking questions are very in relevant. Gambians we don’t support each other making a drama and expecting sponsors not come doesn’t mean that your drama is not good you don’t base quality to such. Take example of Senegal they have sponsors. Base on those the quality of the drama is good.

good point i can kind of agree with you. i suppose he just choose to name it after jollof like how we name our kids after all kinds of names even if its names from other tribes etc. even though i can see it might be misleading to you. Picking english though is not a good idea either if we are gonna be strict then by your logic majority of all Wolof do not speak english either. Majority of wolofs are in Senegal+Mauritania not Gambia. Even in Gambia its not like all wolofs went to english school either some are in the provinces and never set foot in a western type school others went to arabic and islamic school. If he is targeting a gambian audience only then you understand that making content surrounding wolof entertainment is not gonna be enough to make his channel get around unless you are ready to contribute with them dollars,dalasis,euros or pounds. he has to be able to get all kinds of audiences as well to make his business go around.Their are a limited amount of celebrities to interview in gambia and not all of them are wolof. Some are and others are not. Sadio Mane la Mousso is not a wolof so it also depends on what language she feels comfortable in speaking in an interview as well. its not like you can dictate to the guests what to speak either.
