Absolutely brilliant video. Laughed to myself many times. You really are a natural presenter. A great insight of what goes on during these competitions and something I would certainly try in the future off the back of your vid. Keep them coming.

It was great to meet you Shaun. Great job of portraying the event for us 1st timers. It's a very different scene to what most of us fly on a normal basis. I don't think we will ever be a stickler for the rules as some are but fun to experience it.

Where are you. I am having to finish jobs due to the lake of good videos to watch. Hope all is ok with you.

Interesting video Shaun, I watched at least 10 mins of it, 😂 I have got my life to live, … joking of course, see you at the shenanikins, anyway where did you place? Shame British weather was another disaster. So much of this year just hasn’t been good flying for our little machines. Well done Daniel. And for all the people who took part. I might even enter myself next year, but foot launched not those dangerous trike things. You never said yours had a reverse gear😂
@FatParamotorGuy Жыл бұрын
It’s been an awful year for flying weather - trikes are cool 😉

Really interesting to watch Shaun, I was wondering what I’d missed. I was in the discovery class but afraid I dropped out at the last minute, may next year I’ll get there?

Look forward to seeing you next year 👍

Yeah, thread lock on nylocks is stupid. I'm surprised they require you to put a cotter pin and wire safeties on that same fastener as well. You can never be too careful! Yeah, you kind of can. At least the guys were helpful and the official was funny. "Everything I say". Live and learn. Your first competition, that 's what I expected. Sucks about the data, but now you know, so there's that, I guess. You'll get some points next year. Nothing broken, nothing lost, so it definitely could be worse. And you certainly have a better idea of your wind limits now. That looked uncomfortable even from the video,

WTF? OS map? Needs to be an a U.K. Air Chart, for legal VFR in Britain.
@richardwomersley9761 Жыл бұрын
OS is for navigation it also has airspace information superimposed onto it. Obviously as pilots of aircraft the pilots will be flying with there own airchart Accessible.
@FatParamotorGuy Жыл бұрын
Hi Neville - the requirement by the ANO is to carry a chart and altimeter- it is not to use this as your primary form of navigation. This requirement is the responsibility of the entrant who has signed to say they will fly in compliance with air law. I carry one in my side pocket should I need it, and use Annexe 4 charts to understand the local airspace in advance of flying (as should always be done)
