I think you should keep the orange in. Just use it sparingly for the pops of color. It will be a dynamic piece of your quilt

I love the more complex star block designs. I notice that the fabrics have a striking value difference. There are lots of texture/ solids used. They contrast with the tiny flower prints which become the accents. How important is the use of the textured solids? And how Important is the value contrast to the success of the quilt?

I love those quilts so much. Just lovely! I was wondering if she used a certain fabric line or combinations of different fabric lines and different designers. The colors are just so bright and cheerful. I especially like the blues, my favorite color. I'll be getting the book and ordering the two fabric lines by Sherry and Chelsie and Cory. Thanks you so much for all you do for all the quilters all over the world. You inspired all of us. Thank you to the FQS staff also. Without them, none of this would be possible.

Thanks for the great video, Kimberly. I think I will be sewing along, and using the same fabrics. I love both fabrics so much, as well as the colors. Also like the idea of a single background. I’ll be using your favorite white on white. I use that a lot myself.
