Lord Jesus Christ is coming back everyone, please don’t worship celebrities and entertainment, focus on Him alone. I promise there’s more to life than money, partying, homosexuality and music. Hell is real, repent from sinning confess your sins and ask God to forgive you, I know He will if you’re sincere. Anyone who thinks the Name of Lord Jesus Christ is a joke, boldly mocks and scorns Him or takes pleasure in people who do is in for a big unpleasant surprise on judgement day IF they don’t repent and follow Lord Jesus Christ. Hell is very hot, people please repent! In the mighty name of Lord Jesus Christ, Amen 🙏💪✝️💜❤️✝️! Idolatry such as, Islam, Catholicism, Sangomaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Santa Clausism, Confucianism, New Age, Science, Evolution, halloweenism, Harry Potterism, Politics, Donald Trumpism, Easter Bunnyism and other religions/faiths that are outside Biblical Christianity lead to hell! Don’t believe them, believe the Almighty God the Father of Lord Jesus Christ, who begot Him. Our Creator, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is mighty, He doesn’t need a woman to beget a son, He is God. I choose to put my faith in a God who can do anything and everything, a God who has unlimited and infinite power to beget! So, it’s time to confess that Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord and to believe that He died and rose from the grave after three days and you shall be saved if you only obey Him by praying, worshipping, praising, reading the Bible and living holy and righteously according to the Bible. You have to endure until the end, carry your cross daily and build your relationship with God by following Lord Jesus daily until the end. You must never renounce your faith in The Lord Jesus Christ, there’s hell awaiting those who reject/deny Lord Jesus Christ and those who continue living sinfully, even the Christians who don’t want to repent will face the same fate, so please repent beloved people, in Lord Jesus Christ’s mighty and precious Name, Amen.

Let me explain this why do you think Coco Chanel created her business because she decided and took upon herself that more men were deciding what women should wear and how they should dress and that’s why she started her business the same guy did the same thing with Victoria’s Secret so when a woman does it it’s different but when a man does it it’s something different like come on
@emilybradford41813 жыл бұрын
Coco Chanel makes runway clothes, classic styles, and bags. Victoria secret makes lingerie for the average women, but their runway models are purposely far from average and they always try to sell you a push-up bra when you go in. It makes you wonder what got a man interested in women’s underwear and if he really knows what it’s like to wear it. If his bras were great no one would be opposed to him making them, but problems keep coming up that make people wonder if his sexism and greed is what’s ruining his brand. There’s not as many problems with coco Chanel so no ones really questioning her ethics

I can’t speak for every sport but I know professional athletes aren’t forced to starve themselves before a tournament, don’t have to fit specific measurements or anything like that. We keep goals on what to train on and nutrition, we just need to heavily monitor. It’s tough but if you love it enough, you will be motivated to do it most of the time. I definitely respect the work that is required to be a model but starving/e*ting d*sorders should never be respected or glamorized. They take the innocent lives of people every day.

Luckily she made it and has a kid, but it's insane how VS expected their models to totally gove their body and life to create a toxic ideal of women's body.

Unless if someone is born like that, there's literally no need to be skinny. In my opinion, having fat on the stomach and arms and just everywhere else is so much more beautiful then being so skinny. I remember being 21 and literally tailoring all of my beauty regimens to look like a victoria secret model. I was already a skinny white girl with some curves so I just went with it. And that felt like the epitome of beauty for me. Guys gawked at me when I stepped into a bar the same way they gawked at VS models & that meant you were the most "worthy" of all the women....bc you were the most desired but also the most untouchable. I developed an entire identity around being THAT woman. Did it feel good? Yes but it got me into toxic relationships with narcissistic & violent men that only wanted to own me. I experienced the very dark side of being one of the most wanted women. And I made the mistake of confusing that with being loved which couldnt have been further from the truth. It’s the fact that the brand was started by a man to “tailor” women to his needs. Like lingerie in general is something I can’t wear because most of the fabrics are hella uncomfy and give me UTIs or rashes (I’m allergic to lots of fabrics). When I found out most of the materials used in lingerie gives women vaginal problems, it just made me completely distasteful of wearing it. I can respect that it makes many women feel sexy, but I’m not one of them. It just makes me uncomfortable and itchy. I always had insecurities about it as a young girl, but I’ve found just wearing a cute color and some skin tight boys cuts actually make me feel a lot more confident. It’s all about what works for you, and I feel like many of the girls wearing lingerie do it for themselves, but some just wear it because they feel pressured to “perform” for their partners and look sexually appealing. And guys should be more understanding of that, because they’d probably complain about having to wear lace and underwire too. It’s just such an expectation-more a societal one than one most men enforce-that it’s jarring to see a woman unwilling to wear it.

Victoria's Secret has never been a place where I can find good fitting bras. An employee there told me I was an "obscure" bra size and that I would have trouble finding bras in my size... Victoria's Secret only had ONE bra drawer with my size and it was basically just black bras or nude bras, which weren't even my skintone. I asked the storemanager and she said; 'Appareantely they assumed women would want those." I said; 'What am I supposed to do now?' and she said; 'Try a B cup, they don't have fillings." I said; 'With a B-cupsize I would need a filling....I have A, not a B.." She said; 'Then you need to use the pushup bra.' I said; 'But I don't want a pushup bra ánd they wouldn't fit inside, because it's half-filled up!' I literally remember why I stopped watching the Victoria Secret shows. It was because they fired Barbara Palvin cause she was too “fat”, even though she looked better then the rest of the models. It mad me so mad!
@moonlightprincess4493 жыл бұрын
They did really? She wasn’t even fat
@________________69852 жыл бұрын
They did not fire her. Walking the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was not like a job where you get a contract and just show up every year. You have to “audition” for it every year and sometimes you get it sometimes you do not. You do not get fired. You can get blacklisted if you do something wrong (ie. Jessica Hart) but you do not get fired as you are not an employee of the company. Additionally they literally hired Barbara to be the “fat” one. If she had been blacklisted for any reason, her weight or size would not have been why, she would simply not have been selected during the auditions. She was supposed to represent the show becoming more inclusive. Viewers are the ones who were angry. Some because they thought she was too fat and others because they didn’t like that she was considered plus size when she was so obviously slim. She was going to walk in the show before it was cancelled. Additionally, the issue of her being “too fat” to walk a show is not just a VS problem, she is or was considered plus size by runway standards, where Victoria’s Secret did not book plus size models for their shows. She is only 5’9 (while this is the minimum for Victoria’s Secret Angels, they were often preferred 2.54 cm or 1 inch taller than that still) and her hips are VERY wide, of course she is absolutely gorgeous but this IS pushing the Victoria’s Secret image a bit. Models on the VSFS at a height of at least 180 cm or 5’10” to 183 cm or 6’0” were most preferred although exceptions did occur. Runway is considered more inclusive because there are shows that display petite models, plus size models, or supermodels but these are MULTIPLE shows targeting different audiences, across multiple days and in multiple locations. The VSFS was one show once a year. They SHOULD have been more inclusive but do not forget that for the established image of the angels it was not a very feasible move for the enterprise to become that much more inclusive all at once. If becoming more inclusive had actually been what they wanted, it would have taken quite a bit to respectfully challenge the established image of the angels without seeming like they were doing it just for profit. Evidently it is not what they wanted but that is a different conversation. Lily Rose Depp who is only about 160 cm or 5’3” is considered a petite model. Kate Moss who is about 170 or 5’7” is also considered a petite model. Although they are both pop culture icons and absolutely gorgeous, neither would have likely booked the VSFS. Despite their difference in height, they are both in the same modeling category because they are both under 175 cm or 5’9” inches and are both very slim. A plus size model will typically have BWH measurements above 89-63.5-89 cm or 35-25-35 inches. Barbara Palvin was not considered the typical Victoria’s Secret Angel because she just barely meets the height requirement for the typical runway model where, again, Victoria’s Secret Angels were often a bit taller than the standard, and her hips are almost 94 cm or 37 inches wide. I’m not saying Barbara IS fat but her label as a plus size model is not so much the fault of the Victoria’s Secret enterprise or the people in charge as it is because of the fashion industry. Finally, I agree she looked absolutely gorgeous but why are you bringing the other models down just to uplift her? They are all absolutely gorgeous, considered by some to be the most beautiful women in the world, and there is no need for you to say one looked better or worse. It is nobody’s responsibility to look better or worse than anybody else. She looked like an angel, just like the other girls.

I agree with the "Oh NOW you wanna change??" type of attitudes. VS wanting to change their brand LITERALLY BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO just doesn't sit right with me. Tyra Banks said she made the decision to be an underwear model over other modeling because she didn’t want to lose anymore weight. Underwear models tend to have more weight on the bust and hips because they’re wearing undies. I'm 22, slim, have an hourglass body, work out daily, and I'm still insecure of these models because these companies have fed us this image that these women are elite and perfect, that they look like this every single day. Another thing that bothers me about the beauty industry (way more than VS models who are at least hardworking) is the slim-thicc body type that ig models promote. These ig models who haven't even worked out for their bodies, unlike the runway models, who have had fat injected into their butts, have implants, fillers, botox, facial surgeries, and still use filters and photoshop. They're the ones who are really creating an unattainable body standard. VS models do actually look the way they look on TVs-not everyday, but on runway days they do. They have also worked hard for those bodies, and their bodies are somewhat attainable for a small fraction of people. Ig models on the other hand don't even look close to their pictures in real life and no woman alive can have that kind of insanely huge boobs and butt while having a small waist, or having large lips but a small nose. It isn't natually possible. That's way worse than the beauty standards promoted by VS imo.
@ibrahimkamityoutube3 жыл бұрын
wow what an interesting point! I can definitely agree with you on this. like obviously what VS set was unrealistic but yes it was somewhat attainable for some although intense and (unhealthy even admitted by former models) but yes as you've pointed out it's much worse now with the rise of cosmetic surgery and photo editing. gosh it's just so scary to think how much this affects people and especially younger children.

As a 30 y old woman, I sometimes wonder which one is worst: to be a young woman in 50-70s, in 80-00s, or in the new millennium. Based on what I've heard from my mum, she used to get relentlessly bullied by men around her for ridiculous reasons (e.g. for being a bit chubby or having too big or too small boobs). On the other hand, there wasn't much social media or tv commercials back then. In my youth, it was not ok to comment someone's looks straight to her face but you kept seeing thin, curveless women everywhere. It felt like the whole fashion industry was ruled by closeted gay men who hate the idea of feminine curves. Nowadays, it's ok to be bigger but the beauty standards have become almost completely unattainable - unless you are willing to get under the knive. At the same time, people are struggling with all kinds of weight problems and even keeping a normal weight can get difficult. I can't help but feel that the extreme beauty ideals have created a lot of rejection for feminine bodies and the idea of keeping a normal weight (since "normal" has become so abnormal in the past 30 years). Even the more inclusive campaigns tend to showcase more extreme examples of female bodies. Or I at least have hard time finding fitting clothes and good role models for myself, despite representing a rather "average" body type. I have a rather small built (compared to many men) and am not excessively obese but do have a rather big belly, wide hips and average size, hand-fitting boobs. I look quite similar to the naked ladies in the old paintings but for reason or another, don't see similar bodies in media nowadays. So I honestly feel that anything else can be trendy but average, healthy looking female bodies. As a consumer, you always have to aim for a change, even if that change was not good for you.

Yeah I mean in a way ig models are worse because why does someone have to pay hundreds to put stuff inside their bodies to fit the standards, it’s nearly impossible to stop this or help the younger generation so kids ever listen about not using their phones or not using certain apps until they reach a certain age? Apps making the age where you can finally use the app legally? 13 isn’t helping unless for some reason and somehow it becomes illegal for minors under 13 to be in possession of a phone or sth which is also impossible, we just have to sit and watch the future generation have their perception of beauty and self get worse unless some of them listen to the older people who make it known that it’s fine to not look like the models

One's self worth and love shouldn't rely in one's looks. We are more that what we look like or how much money we have or our careers. These things make life easier makes us more acceptable by society but doesn't make us better human beings. We need to worry about pleasing God not the world. On judgement day only God's standards will count.

I find their rebranding very performative after years of criticism from their target market and years of Ignoring that criticism it finally caught up with them. let’s be honest they wouldn’t have changed if not for their sales plummeting but... I’m happy there is less toxic beauty standards in the world 🤷🏾♀️

That shocked me. At miss universe, you are eating, drinking water before the show because hungry is not a good look on the stage. It's a creepy creepy culture. I don't like woke culture because they usually target innocent people but here they finally hit a worthy target. Honestly, irresponsible creeps.

twelve hours is not a lot. That’s not even a intermittent fasting window. You eat dinner at 6pm then go to sleep for 8hrs and wake up for a show at 6am. don’t be so dramatic.

Other than the lingerie, the fashion show had great themes and artistry behind it. As someone that loves fashion, I adored the fine details and viewing how the models walked. But anyways they need a new CEO😬
@amy_ambrosio3 жыл бұрын
Same, I always wanted to see the art direction behind the show (the concepts behind the stages, the designs, etc.) and I really adored to see some of my fav models walking on the runway. Many years ago (like 10 or more), I used to be a girl with a Tumblr fashion blog, following models since 2000 something, with a bit more than 1M followers, someone who loved editing fashion pictures, creating new stuff based on videos or pictures that I liked, and making friends with photographers and other people who used to follow models after the runways ended to take them photos whether they were on PFW, NYFW, MFW, etc., or people who were invited to the runways and then shared their photos, etc. I remember we all were waiting for the show every year; not because of the lingerie or for some dirty sh*t (we were both women and men), but because we wanted to see those models feeling powerful, confident, and happy in the runway. In the past, being on the show used to be something that just models with high status in the industry were supposed to have (I'm not talking about the beginning of the brand, but when I was following the show); I remember how my Internet pals and me would bet over the model with the best catwalk, the one who was the weakest, the one who killed the runway, the funniest, the most original, etc. For us, the show never was about the clothes, was about seeing the hardwork of all those models on the runway. Sadly, not everything was as shiny as it looked like, when I (and we) started growing, I discovered a lot of ugly stuff about the fashion world, and well, it was a significant experience as well. About the show, when I discovered that the older powerful men in VS used to target/harass some of the models, and that even some of my favorite models were treated like sh*t by them, I was super shocked and disgusted. And yeah, it's not surprising if u look at what type of men they are, but at that time I was a young girl who knew almost nothing about those things. As someone who grew following many young models' careers since I was a a young girl, who was inspired by them, who used to follow their works on fashion magazines, etc., the show was something really fun for me to watch over the years.... that was the case, until one day it wasn't. I still admire most of the models I used to follow when I was a teenager, simply because the main reason I liked them it wasn't because of their bodies, or faces, or skin color, but because of their talent to portray certain emotions under the lens, the skill to communicate with their bodies, the way the photographer, the editor and everyone else worked to built a great and solid work, etc., but I also recognize now that their paths had so many hardships that nobody would want to experience. In that regard, I soon understood why many of them would quit the path as soon as possible, because it truly s*cks to hurt your mind and body to sustain such toxicity.

I really wish they still had angels and fashion shows but with a more diverse group of women.
@meiji18152 жыл бұрын
@@bubblegumbxtch9544 yes exactly but the old angels will not need a strict diet anymre additional those angels are gonna lose the traditional vs look since they are not sticking to old strict diet regimen. If these happen MEN will be pissed but then somehow it proves the the misoginy of men and people will understand that old vs angels bodies are hard to attain cuz practically this just serves FANTASY OF A MEN. The VS will literally have a good rebranding without removing their root vs angels and good artistic runway shows. They all just have to remove the misogyny side and unfortunatly for men their own fantasy but again they can just watch porn to enjoy there fantasy since lingerie is for women to wear and practically the consumers are women not men. The world does not rotate to men to feed their ego boosters.
