Obesity started before that as well. Ultra-processed food made it a lot easier, but overabundance of food also contributed. In the past meats and such were expensive items, while vegetables were peasant food, and processed food didn't exist. But if you were wealthy enough to not have to eat mostly vegetables and could afford to have meat everyday you were more likely to eat a lot more and be fat. That's why obesity was occasionally described as a "disease of the upwardly mobile" in the past.

I was 305lbs I've gone down to 196lbs still working out and eating right I need 30lbs more to go. I haven't felt this awesome in so long.. The reason why I got that big was because I was LAZY I didn't have an eating disorder I just had a bunch of excuses point period! Nobody is happy that big. And if they say they are they are lying who is going to be happy when you can't breathe when walking from the living room to the bathroom. No ma'am no matter how much you say you are happy being big, deep down you know it's not true. You want to believe that. 🤷🏽‍♀️
