Very well explained. Any student will understand after listening to this lecture. Great teachers are difficult to come by, and here you are, one of the best. Thank you.

I gotta be honest and transparent here.. you really know your stuff. This was an amazingly thorough breakdown! I don't know why, but I just could not stay focused on the diagrams, and it seemed like a foreign and unfamiliar language to me. This is one of the reasons I struggled to get a B+ in Chemistry. The words is fine I understand what we are talking about, but when it comes to those diagrams I just have no idea what the "ham sandwich" I am looking at .

This was such a clear illustration! I find this and some of your videos helpful for students learning about the structure of lipids and fatty acids that I would like to ask for your permission to use this in our group presentation. Of course due credits will be given. Hoping to get a response. Thanks! Btw, new subscriber here. :)

Omg I never knew why they were called omega! This makes sense to me now, especially since I'm done with general chemistry. Thanks for the informative video!

This was truly an amazing video, thank you so much!!! I just have a question, if mono and poly unsaturated fats are Cis, does that mean that transfats are always differed from cis molecular structures? Naturally or artificially

Sir, How cis and trans configuration form in structure of unsaturated fatty acids which have two double bond, which position to add cis and trans , and why we add cis only or trans, what was the properties? .. I asked my biochemistry teacher when she's teaching, she said she"will find out first and will tell you, cause up to your level ( I'm 2nd semester biochemistry ) is not much to learn about this "" 🙃
