Fatty liver is mainly Triglycerides deposition which comes more from simple sugars, rice , maida etc & make it worse if you are taking them in fried format like kachori, samosa, biriyani etc . But good fat is essential for the body even it helps in reversing the systemic inflammation in the body including Fatty liver related NASH . Good fats from fish , chia seeds, flax seeds, nuts, olive oil , coconut oil ,avocados even desi ghee one can consume daily (in moderation ) but don’t use it for deep frying simple sugar/carbs like kachori, Samosa, pulav, biriyani , gulab jamun etc. Egg yolks are allowed provided you are taking total 4-5 max/week .

@@MR-ml5ij as I said good fat is essential ( PUFA , MUFA ) . It raise HDL , helps in LDL reduction too . Check your Apo-A & Apo-B levels (In India direct small LDL estimation probably not present currently I guess but Apo B gives you an estimate of that ) . Its the percentage of small LDL which gets damaged by toxins like simple sugars is causing the main damage . So LDL high may not always signify increase risk . If you have problem with one statin talk with your doctor if you can change it to another statin or costly PCSK9 inhibitor. Statin can cause blood sugar fluctuations in some so diabetic diet control is must .
