Auch wenn deutsch natürlich meine Muttersprache ist... Dennoch gibt es in meinen Augen wenige Sprachen die es vermögen so viel auszudrücken, die so poetisch und tiefgründig sind...Und entgegen aller Vorurteile kann deutsch, wie man es in diesem Lied hört, auch eine sehr sanfte Sprache sein. Ich mag unsere Sprache :) Und dieses Lied natürlich umso mehr ;)

Reinhard Mey als Wortakrobat Meister der deutschen Sprache und Faun hat´s drauf dich in musikalisch-lyrischer Art für ´ne Weile in Märchenwelten abschweifen zu lassen obwohl ich auch Hardrock und Balladen in englisch höre, deren Texte ich kaum verstehe aber Musik ist international.....))

@cosmictimes Thanks for pointing that out, and also to whomever posted the song and translation, and to Faun as well. They are beyond talented in producing music that is itself deep reaching, even without grasping lyrics which do serve well in adding even more depth. Their music has ability to fill voids in lives of those so fortunate as to be graced by it, myself included.
