@@gingeral253 I'll put it to you this way: I been playing this game so long, I remember a time when in order to smelt iron ore, you had to dig a hole 3 or 4 blocks deep. Underneath ground level you removed 1 block away from the hole in all 4 directions, replaced what you too out with logs, fill the very bottom of the hole with water (why 4 block deep works better here), light the logs on fire, then throw your ore in by spamming Q, NOT the whole stack. Why do all this? Be cause furnaces didn't exist

I've never played Minecraft but I think I remember a video were someone had a house that had a kind of a "pillar" made of flowing lava. However, after an update that made so that lava could set things on fire the house burned down.

I lost my best friend from middle school two years ago. We were planning a grand week long hang out. We were going to watch TMNT and play Sega Genesis, just like the old days. He was in the process of recovering from cancer, and I had just lost another friend so I decided I needed to call him and tell him that I loved him just in case something happened. He was so happy to hear it and he told me that I was like a brother to him. We both cried. He promised he would get out of the hospital soon and that he would be okay. A month later I saw his parents update his Facebook saying he had died as I was leaving a movie theather. I fell to my hands and knees and sobbed. He was my best friend growing up, and I still miss him so much. Always tell your friends and family that you love them before it's too late.

minecraft has a few subtle things that can be taken as hints of lore, and i guess you could take the end credits as lore but it definitely has things to speculate about, like who built the structures such as the end dungeon, deep dark ruins, etc, and why endermen speak english backwards, and is steve the last surviving member of his species since non villager zombies exist

I played minecraft when it was entirely browser based, there was absolutely zero procedural generation or survival elements and every server was just filled with complete and utter chaos. The fun part was to kinda dig into the crust of the server to find layers upon layers of past creations that players made. Then you find yourself a spot and build something cool, hidden away in a place only you can find, then see how long it takes before someone else finds it and replaces it with something else. It was innocent, pure and fun.

I used to play when water flowed infinitely, then after a while I played the web version where it was always the same world that lasted like an hour and a half, and then I remember in 2013 when I downloaded the official launcher and it was free for some reason, best day in my life, I still remember like it was yesterday, I just got back from playing with friends outside, got on my pc, tried launching the game, it worked, made a world in creative, first thing I did was mine straight down and make a railway in a cave underground

Technically the game was playable in 2009 just not available to the public at that time, and Mojang made alpha and beta versions available in 2011 along with the initial release of the game, so on technicality it’s 16-17 years old. But you can take that as you will.

On her sudden tangent about Attack on Titan, tbf I don't think they ever said that Season 3 (where we find out what's in the basement) was going to be the *end,* per se... Though I do think Wit Studio said that was as far as they would go, which did indeed turn out to be true since Mappa took over after that. 'course then Mappa made "The Final Season"... which ended on a cliffhanger after 16 episodes with an announcement of "The Final Season: Part 2", which took over a year to come out... and which ended on a cliffhanger after 12 episodes with an announcement of "The Final Season: The Final Chapters" coming the following year... And said "The Final Chapters" took the form of two movie-length TV specials that came out like four months apart... Imagine how much mockery they could have spared themselves of if only they *didn't* use the title "The Final Season". Granted even then I imagine there would still be *some* jokes at how the series took forever to actually end, but at least you wouldn't have the so-called final season being *three seasons long in its own right.* ...Moot point now though. The series has actually ended, and honestly, looking at how the endgame turned out... It's quite easy to see why it took so long. Even in the manga the climax was basically just volume after volume of preposterously detailed action featuring incredibly hard-to-draw characters and creatures, to the point where many felt it would be outright impossible to animate. And while compromises had to be made... by and large I think they did an admirable job of bringing it to screen. (And I mean, they took what was in the manga a *deeply divisive* ending and made something out of it that actually left both the manga readers and anime-only fans pretty happy. That's quite the accomplishment in and of itself.)

IDK, I never sort of disliked anime. There were times when I was tired of anime or it didn't interest me as much as it used to, so instead I just watched a lot of KZbin. Currently I watch anime when I want to. I have Netflix so whatever they have, I can watch that on my phone. Currently only interested in the Spice and Wolf readaptation. There are some I have to finish, some I'd like to watch and ofc some that I have yet to discover how awesome they are, but currently airing ones? Not so much. The days of following 10 anime at the same time are over. As for Minecraft... Started playing it back in 2012 I think, no, has to be earlier than that. Yeah, I played it when it was still in beta. Ah, one of the best sounds was the sound a skeleton would make, that and the old bow sounds. That takes me back... I miss having gaming nights with a friend.
