Thank you very much for your kind words about our new song & video. In this winter without live concerts, it gives us strength and hope to share our new songs and to witness your enthusiasm and support. We will be releasing a song/video every month until our new album "PAGAN" will come out in April 2022. Pre-orders for limited versions of „PAGAN“ will start in a couple of days, in December. Although it is a lot of extra work for us, it feels great to release these songs on our own label and to have unlimited artistic freedom. But we are aware, that this is only possible because of your support, therefore THANK YOU.

I've commented before about this wonderful video - but it has established itself as my LIFE LONG favorite thing by either Faun or Lindy-Fay, both of whom I listen to a LOT. Until Galdra, I only knew Lindy-Fay Hella through her massively important contributions to Wardruna! All by itself, Lindy-Fay's climax to Galdra sent me off in search of her wonderful solo work, much of which promptly became favorites! One final note: I'm 75! before becoming a husband and father in 1975, I lived in Toronto and heard pretty much everybody who WAS anybody in North American folk and rock in concert, along with a couple of blues icons! While I still adore all of my icons from the 60's and 70's, KZbin's mixes and my ethnic interests long ago led me to first Wardruna, then Faun! Inclusion in my frequent listening along with major icons from my youth means I consider YOU folks developing icons! Congratulations! I love it that Faun mixes include Galdra and Odin which guest star my beloved Wardruna stars!
@GaryS.Dennis-lt4mo4 ай бұрын
Hmm. came back to check for responses to this comment (Faun thanked me for my praise way back when I commented before) so then of course I had to listen to Galdra again! I really tried to do that on my reasonably high end phone, where Faun sounds pretty good (even my us $25 chinese smart watch tries very hard and sounds decent) but I couldn't bear to hear or watch Lindy-Fay in full concert hall mode swaying in the wordless climax, so just had to cast it to my TV - 32 inches is tiny by current standards, but my chair is just 8 feet from it, and the sound is about as good as I used to get from my serious speakers back in the 70's - so the song finished at glorious full volume and size! Not that Faun isn't awesome in its own right - you sound wonderful and your official videos are high art short films

We need to be very careful about breaking from the tradition of the old ways otherwise we lose the plot. That is why the Earth is in such a dire state that it is in today. All in the name of progress. Einar Selvik brings the tradition of Earth lore into his compositions and I raise my hat with respect to him, as I do with Faun. Always remember your roots no matter how much you think you have improved yourself today.
@vencdee2 жыл бұрын
I think that it's misconception. If ancient Gods were real, then the tradition caries the encounters, which points to the future and are tied with progress. Of course, progress which loses its sense is just another way of consumerism - as ephemeral as any other ideologies of recent centuries.
@alan_mythicalgnome2 жыл бұрын
Now I see why Einar Selvik says that his songs are written so that people on different levels will hear different things. This doesn't need discussion. You either have spiritual awareness or you don't . If you don't then how can you argue about something that you have never experienced?

Amazing how after so many great albums they still can deliver such amazing songs, and bring out the same old atmosphere they’ve always had. I’m hooked by this one!

Leaving this comment for the god of the algorithm ! I want this video to be recommanded to many people. I do not often comment your videos but it's been 2 years since i discover your band and you deserve so much support for your work ! I'm really amazed by the quality of your productions, lyrics, atmosphere of every songs, music... As a cinema student i really appreciate how you use the clip to complete the atmosphere and the story of the song and how it also has his own story. I wish i could see you in live show soon ! Waiting for that i just want to say a big thank you from France to all of you for sharing your talent and love of pagan music with us.
