I wasn't born at the time but I've definitely heard stories of this legendary Colombian team which had stars like Rene "EL Loco " Higuita , Carlos " EL Pibe" Valderramma , Aspirilla and Andrès Escobar. They had the potential to win the world cup and many pundits did tip this team to lift the trophy . Due to some bad luck and bad timing , they weren't successful at all. Escobar was shot dead for his mistake . So tragic.

@@mateojoyasquintero3142 , No creo, Asprilla solo era jugador de partidos a veces aparecía en otras directamente no existía, no tenía regularidad, mbappe en un jugador de otro nivel q habría q compararlo con Ronaldo Nazario por condiciones, si mbappe solo tuviera un poco más de e habilidad y potencia física estaría al nivel de Ronaldo pero es lo más cerca que hubo a nivel futbolístico. Lo que Asprilla tenía era velocidad y habilidad en espacios largos pero tenía mucha dificultad en espacios cortos, mientras que Ronaldo, mbappe son más completos tienen habilidad en espacios largos y cortos encima tienen velocidad y potencia creo q por encima de Asprilla. Con todo respeto creo que Asprilla es solo un buen jugador pero no le llega ni llegará siquiera a los talones a mbappe, por qué Asprilla a los 22 años recién empezaba a jugar en un fútbol de alto nivel mientras que mbappe con 21 años ya casi lo gana todo y todavía está en ascenso pues seguro con los años terminará siendo una leyenda del fútbol mundial, mientras que a Asprilla muy pocos lo recuerdan por qué creo que no ganó nada a nivel de clubes y selección.
