Nice pattern and tutorial on the faux bucktail. That hook looks great for for it too. Daiichi's 1770 is the closest I've seen in shape but it's a 1x fine hook. If you're looking for a rattle why not tie some minnow body tubing on the shank and insert a couple of BB shot in the tube before tying off. Then tie the remainder of the fly. I use Daisy's BB shot, 2400 for six bucks at a sporting goods store. They clink together when the fly is stripped, plus it gives a "pot belly" look to the fly. If you're looking for an alevin fry pattern you could color the tubing. And if it doesn't work or you don't like it, you'll have ammo for an awesome spit ball fight ;-). Seriously, thanks, I learn alot from your channel. 👍

Hi BW, wondering how you made out finding a small rattle or if you used the tubing & bb's? Check out tightline channel, cable tie craw video, Tim F. used a micro Pyrex rattle. 3mm diameter and at least 9mm long. I didn't realize they came that small. It had the same packaging as the Cyclops beads he used on the jig hook so the same company probably distributes the rattles. It's worth watching the video anyway because it's a cool pattern. Well good luck.
