Your hair is awesome! I have a mohawk and I struggle to get it to stand sometimes. I also have a double crown which makes the back look kinda wonky. I live in FL so I know the humidity struggle, but you gave me a lot of good tips and products to try out!

I love this style! I have a pixie right now but I think I might get the sides a bit faded and shaved for a faux hawk.The top of my hair sticks up just by water and it will stay like that all day.I like how it does that because I can't stand any kind of product in my hair.( I have OCD big time)

I really appreciate this video! My hair is really fine and straight and I’m totally clueless when it comes to hair and makeup so I usually just gel my short hair to the side or *attempt* a faux hawk. But this was really helpful! Ps- your tats are amazing.

Hi Mel! You and I have similar haircuts. About 2 years ago I started clipping the back and sides, leaving some length on top to style. My muse I guess was Miley Cyrus. I also have a full head of fine hair, that use to be dark. But since I am now a "Mel Confirmed - Mature Hottie" ( a bit of a stretch, LOL) my hair is salt and pepper to white on the sides. So I love the turorial on how to style it and also would love to see the pixie style as well. Thanx again for taking the time to show us! XOXOX

+Puffins Wife Hi Mel! I finally picked up a sample of "Powder Play" to help with volume for my fine hair. You were RIGHT! You're thinking "Aren't I always when it comes to beauty products??" ha-ha! I cannot believe how much it helps the "fine hair" that I have (in common with you..) stand up and style nicely! It looks great! I love the short hair cuts since I tend to sweat a lot -- and living in a humid area makes it worse. So I enjoy styling the little bit I have on top into different looks. I have styled mine to the back before, just never tried to make it stand up so much. Well today it is STANDING UP! I can always use another look! Anxious to see your "down style" or whatever you called it. XOXOX

I love your hair! Mine is very fine also, with a good amount of natural wave. I have always worn my hair short. I do find that the shorter it is, I can get it straighter..which I also like. of course, we all want hair that we do not have! How did you pick this hairstyle? Did you see it on someone, or did you just get shorter and shorter with each haircut? I really am curious. I am much older than you, but tend to be on the stylish side, if I say so myself!
