Wow Loll - brilliant technique and I agree with Vicki and Marie.......your voice is lovely, so peaceful and calming. Must admit I had a shock when I first heard myself on tape; as you say it doesn't sound like that in my head!!! lol xxx

I have never cared for orange nor pink, but I have fallen in love with the look of both together (LOL)! I bought some yarn over the past couple of years with that combo Great technique and you have created some elegant cards using it. Congratulations.

+Calmom5 Thanks so much!! :) Not sure where you live, but I buy my frost white paint from Dharma Trading in the U.S. They have a very good price. I'll include the link below in case you want to check it out --- the metallics (including frost white) are near the bottom of the page. www.dharmatrading.com/paints/all-purpose-ink.html?lnav=paints.html

+Tracey McNeely Hi Tracey. Thanks so much. This is such a fun and easy technique. I believe you're in Canada (me too!). :) I buy my frost paint from Dharma Trading (US) ... best price I've found for the Tsukineko Frost White paint, which I have found works best for this technique. Dharma's customer service and shipping time has been good with all my orders. Loll xx
@angelareed62187 жыл бұрын
Yes Loll, Dhama Trading is definitely the best price for the frost paint!

Is there a product I can use to substitute the frost white paint until I can order some? what a beautiful background technique!
@lollthompson73578 жыл бұрын
+cheryl7476 Hi Cheryl. You could use white perfect pearls instead. I haven't found anything that works near as good as the Frost White Paint from Tsukineko. I buy mine through Dharma Trading (US) ... best price I've found. Not sure where you're at, but I believe they ship everywhere. Just not sure how high the shipping charges are. Here's the link to the paint at Dharma (scroll down to the bottom to see the metallics). www.dharmatrading.com/paints/all-purpose-ink.html?lnav=paints.html

I enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing it! So nice to put a voice to the name, and such a nice voice too. :) Could you maybe share how you shaped the leaves?
@lollthompson735710 жыл бұрын
Hi Lavonne. I used a large ball stylus and foam mat to shape my leaves, working on the back of the die-cut. Hope that helps. Loll

What a fabulous technique Loll! I will definitely be trying this out! Are the ink pads a dye base? I assume any company of dye inks would work with this? :)
@lollthompson73578 жыл бұрын
+Pamellia Johnson Hi Pamellia. Yes, I used dye inks from Stampin' Up!, but think any dye inks would work the same. The butterfly cards I made yesterday and posted are done with distress inks over the pearl resist.
