12:35 -- Fantastic method to make kraft cardstock look like wood/tree bark by breaking down the fibers. 🎉😮😀

These look just like real bags, who would have thought they would be made of paper and card. Absolutely amazing, they are wonderful 👍👏

What a gorgeous bag! I love it and I’m sure my Mam will too. It looks like it’s going to be difficult to make, but because you break down each stage, it becomes more manageable. You’re a great teacher! 😊 Thanks.

Sam, this is one of my favorites of your gift bags. I really enjoyed recreating this one. I gave many to family and friends. They are still enjoying them (I made them the day you uploaded the video). This bag is absolutely amazing! I shall be making more...in Christmas hues. Thank you so much for sharing...

Wow! Stunning! I think I mentioned the last purse was my fav but now this one is by far. And the greatest thing about your bags are the ability to fold flat for storing cause I am going to be making lots of these. The leather looking one kinda reminds me of a portable hand held tool box or a doctors bag back in the 18th century. Love these so very much! Thank you for sharing!

lol Leanne, your always so sweet. Yep has to be fold flat, means I can keep making loads :) x

New subbie here! I absolutely love this.😍🎉 I’m always making bags to hold goodies for my granddaughter. This one is on my list for her birthday in August. She loves all the “purses” that I make for her. She’s going to be 11 years old. I’ve been doing my best to turn her into a young lady and my crafts help.😊 I look forward to seeing your other videos. Tfs sweetie. Hugs-Kristina 🤗

OMG... This is brilliant! In the 80's bags like this were all the rage, made from string with wooden handles. We used them for school and had to use a carrier bag inside so we didn't lose anything through the holes x 🙂

The handles remind me of a cloth knitting holder I had once that stood on the floor. I have a friend who is a big knitter, this would make a lovely gift bag with knitting goodies in. Her birthday is coming up so it was very good timing......thank you again, I can always count on you for something unusual. 🎉👏🏻✨

This gift bag is awesome!!!!! Question: Does the distressed ink portion dry to the touch, or should I spray it with sealant so it doesn't make for inky fingers later?
@MixedUpCraft3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Beverly. No, no need for sealant, the ink dries completely after 30 minutes or so.
