What’s funny or even ironic is that Patrick is so adamant about not wanting to be a dad, but soon as he finds out that Robin is pregnant I think in his heart of hearts he hopes it is his. then when he finds out it’s his he wants to be involved, then when he becomes a dad he can’t get enough of his little daughter Emma....

What would have been an interesting twist is if they had Patrick holding the baby and he started getting warm and fuzzy feelings or when he saw Robin holding the baby, she had a light switched that flipped and he was thinking of wanting kids, but Robin was the one who was too driven to want one at the time.
