@@LarryFleetwood8675 - I'm 53 numbnuts. I got LIU not long after release. Hell Animalize is FAR superior to Unmasked and its pop sound. Most of us like Unmasked but you really can't rank it that high and still be sane on any level. I mean it's a pop/rock album. It's miles away from the core KISS sound. It's nice to have variety but the reality is it's not a strong KISS album, fact. And then beyond the 80's. Revenge is another album that is far superior to Unmasked. Hey if you like pop that's great man. Go listen to Bon Jovi and Def Leppard from Hysteria on. More power to you brother. But in no universe is Unmasked better than Creatures, Animalize, Asylum, HITS, Revenge, COS, Sonic Boom or Monster. So sorry

@@brianstrutter1501 To you maybe, why do you even care...make your own list, buddy. I'm 55 anyway, I bought all this shit when it came out. To many people Unmasked is a very good album, poppy as it may be but Kiss more or less always chased trends, certainly in later years and they certainly did here and most things following as well. They were no longer originals or innovators, now they were just followers. Personally, there's very little I like about Revenge or anything '90s Kiss for that matter so I didn't list anything simple as that, they didn't really do much new music then to me they lost it when the '80s ended. I like Creatures and Animalize but they're not as good as LIU.

But see that's the problem with some people, worrying about their output or following trends. Yea they did but HITS put them in the right direction and Revenge put them right back where they were supposed to be. None.of that matters to me. All i look at is " is this album good" and i do that for all bands. I don't give a damn the who's and the why's. Ace, Vinnie, Mark, Bruce, Tommy.....i don't care. It's mostly about Paul and Gene anyway they wrote by far most of the songs and easily the best songs. People get too political or as i sometimes say worry too much about the soap opera. Not me. It's the music. Always has been, always will be. If this song or album is good, I'm all in. If it's not then i move on. I've bought every Ace album except Anomoly. Don't like it much but i also don't go to Ace pages and bitch about it. I moved on. Not much of a fan of Hysteria. Only a couple of songs i like, i moved on. To me that's the real world. Too many feel the need to complain. Just shut up and listen, or don't and listen to something else.

I have such a love/hate relationship with Kiss. Also, Love/Hate was a cool band. 1970s: Love Gun (Closely followed by Hotter Than Hell.) 1980s: Asylum (My favorite Kiss album over-all. Animalize is a somewhat close second.) 1990s: Carnival Of Souls (Though I really don't like any of the 90s albums. And I greatly dislike Revenge.) 2010s/2010s: Monster (I don't like either, but this is better, I guess.) Thanks for another fun video, Pete & Hack!

For years Rock and Roll Over was my favorite Kiss album, It's an album where the make up and posturing can be taken away and striped to just the music is a pure rock and roll album. In recent years, Creatures of the Night has become my favorite, and once again it can be stripped back to the music, it's an excellent and powerful album. then I checked out after Revenge. Rock and Roll Over Creatures of the Night Revenge And I'd leave it at that...

I'm 42 years old so I graduated high school in the late 90s but my mom was briefly dating a musician and he turned me onto kiss and I love them to this day Bf first album I heard front to back was rock and roll over and it's been my favorite since I was introduced to the band....80s wise I'm the rare hot in the shade fan..and in the 90s I live revenge, it was the first kiss album I bought with on my own ....counting the solo albums I'll be asbold to say that all their albums are great....the only 2 I don't care for is the 2 newest ones Sonic boom and monster.....I can legit say I love every other album they've done before that

I had this ready to go... 70s: Self-titled debut (Destroyer is still great to me, but it's the '74 to '75 songs that still stick for me, honestly tho its the Alive! versions will always be definitive for me) '80s: Creatures (Gene is back in fine form on this albums that is very close to my #1) '90s: Revenge (after years of mediocre releases '84 to '89 IMO, this one BLEW me away!) '00s and '10s: Monster (since they only released 2 studio albums over 20 years, I feel this the best one)
