As others have said, the big "miss" here is the piercing overclock. If you had piercing + cold you would have been in complete control.

Yeah. Electric + FR = ~30-40shots/s. With some lifetime and reload, you can easily have ~5-6turrets up at once. Throw in a crit or damage artifact and you can do ~20k-30k DPS.

@Bilbiotheque also dont take the 3 extra turrets when they hit 18, pick the increased fire rate, and the minus to accuracy overclock... plasma is good for mining but still good damage..... go for electricity build if going crits.... either build will serve you well

if i remember correctly. one of the strongest run with this weapon is you tka the piercing overclock and focus on highest HP enemy. that's why in the final boss now it just look underwhelming because the weapon is focusing on small bugs and only target the boss after the boss jump and get very close. and the damage there is pretty good even though it just less than 2 seconds focusing on the boss

It'd be nest to have upgrsdes for the Favorite to be slightly more common after selecting it. But that does muck with the rng a bit.

Think the Fave needs a small magazine capacity increase for the GK2, maybe +50% capacity. Look at the Death Spirals, huge increase to FR and Mag size and since they are light weapons already have a really fast reload. I think the range and piercing stat needs to be reworked for light, medium, and heavy weapons.
