I agree so much! I haven't read that book yet, but the cover is so beautiful that I just want to read it. Even if I wouldn't like the story, I would keep the cover, because it would look amazing on my bookshelf! And the detail that I hardly ever get rid of books is not important at all ;)

Currently completely obsessed with The Raven Cycles hardcovers. SO SHIMMERY SO MANY BEAUTIFUL, DEEP COLORS. Also I completely agree about The Bees. When I got that book in my most recent book outlet purchase I semi freaked out over how gorgeous the entire book design is.

I absolutely lobe vengeance road cover!! I'm typically so in love with simple covers that symbolizes the story in some way, like the Lunar Chronicles covers. Those always give me life every time I look at them. I love black or white books, and the paper back addition of the Night Circus is amazing. I also really like the cover of Rebel Belle because it's so girly and pink is my fav color so. Yeah lol

I absolutely love the black pages on Six of Crows. I recently purchased 3 of the 4 puffin in bloom books for my daughter to read when she gets a little older and they're so stunning. I show them off every chance I get.

I am German so I experience a whole different world of book covers. what I really enjoy is when you can tell the author by one glance at the cover and not because it's written on it in big fonts but by a very unique look. the perfect example for this are the books from David Safier. One of my favourites is also the first book from the mortal instruments, but the German version. one of my friends showed me the American version and I was shocked because I bought the book because of its amazing cover which was not the original one. I also like the unique styles of Kerstin Gier's books and the John Green books

The Fourth Estate did an incredibly gorgeous job on the UK/AUS cover for Laline Paull's The Bees, and the Allen and Unwin Australian covers for Celine Kiernan's Moorehawke Trilogy are exceptional as well.

I love A Twisted Tale covers. Specifically Once Upon A Dream. The silhouette of Aurora on a pale purple background and the the spinal and crow lit by green fire with in the silhouette is so cool

Outfit on point 😍 love them overalls!!! There's this particular edition of The Book Thief (I think the UK edition?) where it's a almost like a sketched image of Liesel and Death, and I found that cover to be one of my favourites. Defs agree with you on Six of Crows, I love how the ruffled edged of the crow's wings also form the rooftops/towers of a village 😊

If anyone's ever seen/read the book Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky, that package design man. It caught my eye on many bookstore trips before I picked it up. It's a relatable (for fangirls) sort of funny, satirical YA sort of mystery, I suppose. The cover slip and hardcover itself are different and so simple, it just grabs you in.

I am such a sucker for a nice cover! I suppose I miss out on a lot of good high fantasy novels just because they are so ugly =/ Funny thing, Eleanor by Jason Gurley has another stunning cover - with a sort of double exposure picture of a girl and a forest. I'm going to buy that one :) My favourite covers are: The Trees by Ali Shaw (have you seen it? it's stunning!! the story is nice too. A bit dragging sometimes, but the descriptions are the best) Uprooted by Naomi Novik (the light green one, with gold details. LOVED LOVED LOVED the story, so happy that it's also so pretty) The Dreaming Books series by Walter Moers (the covers that have tons of books on them. Highly recommend the stories too! It's a fantasy about a world full of creatures that you never meet anywhere except in Walter Moers books, and it's all about books! There is a city functioning just because of books - book shops of all kinds, street poets, street book vendors and so on..) There are of course a lot more beautiful books, but this are all fairly recent reads for me and I can't get over how stunning the covers are :D

Idk if you have read it, but you should read "Far From The Tree" by Robin Benway. Not only does it have a BEAUTIFUL cover, but its a touching story about what it means to be a family. At least in my opinion!
