Since you've basically read almost all the Brandon Sanderson books now - would you consider doing a sort of ranking - like which book/series so far have been your favorite?
@poo3922

That would be really cool. For me, Stormlight Archives is my favorite, but Mistborn would be a better introduction to Sanderson as it’s faster paced.

JEM CARSTAIRS I couldnt get Into the stormlight archives, tried to read it twice last year, managed to get a 100 pages in, hoping I'll get lucky the third and finally time, Brandon Sanderson has never disappointed me yet
@poo3922
@poo3922 5 жыл бұрын
@@SElyas96 It's a little slow at first but if you push through the first few hundred pages I think you'll really like it. The book seems daunting initially with the complex world, magic system, multitude of terms, and large cast of characters but once you get acquainted with all of that the pages fly by and you get sucked into the story. Even when you're tempted to give up I suggest you push through until you get at least 200 pages in before considering dnf'ing book. This series is absolutely amazing and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my favorite series of all time by the time it's over.

Biblio Bri Reads agree 100%. Rehab speaks well, has screen presence, is not too formal but too casual either, her opinions are well thought out and insightful, and each video has something of substance to impart. There aren’t too many booktubers who tick all these boxes (little book owl is the only other one I can currently think of) and I could go on by sharing my (negative) opinions about other booktubers for comparison, but as I know some watch this channel, I don’t want to be that mean person.

I absolutely LOVE huge series bc i get what i call "the last chapter blues." LOL i have a bad habit of picking single books and reading them until the last chapter and not wanting it to end so i never finish them. With series it feels like i get to enjoy the books more because its like even if you finish the first book you have more to look forward too. Idk i'm a horrible reader in the sense that it's like a mini depression after i finish one so i hate to finish books and there for i don't read as often as i want too unless it's a LARGE series.

Brandon Sanderson really is a fantastic storyteller, I have read five of his books so far (original mistborn trilogy, Elantris and warbreaker) and I think I’m gonna read his newest release skyward next. The first way of kings book has been sitting on my bookshelf for like 1 1/2 years because for some reason I’m terrified to start it even though I enjoy long high fantasy novels, I don’t know what it is. But I’m going to make it one of my reading goals in 2019 to finally start this series so fingers crossed 🤞🏻

You could start with Elantris or Warbreaker, both are the first books in their series, but he hasn't written the next yet. They are not that long and it's a great way to start diving in the cosmere! Then you could continue with the Mistborn series or the Stormlight archives... either way, I'm jealous of you for be able to read them for the first time, he is truly the best fantasy writer ever! Happy reading!

Have you read Kushiel's dart by Jacqueline Carey? because it checks a lot of your boxes, especially the political.

I made it my priority to read alot of books that you recommended in the last year and I loved nearly all of them 😍(Poison study; the thief; girl of fire and thorns) but I was very disappointed with the demon king 😅 i'd love to know if you loved the series from the beginning or if it had to grow on you 🤔
