One idea with the spider song that I have done with 2 year olds: I attached the spider prop to some string and a stick, and then they could roll the spider up and down. Great video, loved the ideas!

I do mine to Velcro so they can be switched out. It saves me from having to buy so many sticks

Would props be appropriate for a full day class of 18 students?

Absolutely! You can use them during circle time, during music and movement, or whenever you choose. Our 3's class uses them with 16 students.

The blue and green one: amzn.to/3Xhiwrp. The black with the yellow trim is super old so I doubt it's still available.

I personally cannot give advice because I've never had a group that large. I would imagine it would be even more important to make sure they are all engaged, but maybe someone else reading this (who has taught a large group) can chime in!
