Sign of the Beaver is our current read aloud! The 9 year old especially is enjoying it. I didn’t recall that Galileo thought the earth was only millions of years old!

Sign of the Beaver is one of my favorites from my childhood. Nya Nuki the Gril Who Ran is also an excellent book. It was my favorite at that age. If you haven't read it, you should look it up.

I'm brazilian. My challange is find "living books" about Brasil and our history. I'm looking for... Strongly... Public Domain might be the solution.
