Thank you for sharing this great list of living books. We live in Alaska and after reading the book “The great Serum race, Blazing the Iditarod trail” we went to a Iditarod race that is held near our town, and we went to the Iditarod museum, we learnedly lot. Thank you again.

Can you use the North America guide without the Early Modern Times Guide? Or do you need that for the lessons as well?

Hi Sarah, yes, you may use any of our Geography resources independently from the History, Geography, and Bible guides. If you do choose to use the History, Geography, and Bible guides, those guides will instruct you when to use the geography guide and walk you through it over the course of your school year, otherwise, yes, you may use it independently as you like.
