@Tanya Talwar Sometimes they're way too cheesy where it's just a couple months later and the couple is engaged or getting married. Or it flashes forward to showing them having kids. For most books I'm satisfied where the main part of the book ends and the extra bit in the epilogue just makes me roll my eyes. Either because of how quickly it happened or because it's pushing kids & marriage as the true happily ever after.

Just read my first Talie Hibbert books in the past two days, which were Mating the Huntress (short supernatural novella that is great!) and A Girl Like Her (which I think I picked up on your recommendation!). I recently read a great romance called Sword Dance by AJ Demas that was queer and also like Ancient Greece inspired and just incredible!

I was listening to this without watching the screen when the cute guy happened. The commercial that came in right after you said "I should go out there like 'Heyy'" had really calm music, so my first thought was that you had actually gone out and added some "Interlude" type waiting music to the video. 😆 Had to come look at the screen to confirm it was an ad.

It's a MM sports romance called Thrown Off The Ice by Taylor Fitzpatrick and it took the no.1 spot for the most beautiful, gut-wrenching love story I've ever read.

I'm honestly intrigued by the Jasmine/Jafar hookup, but the trigger warnings for the book says it includes "consensual non-consent". What does that mean? Reluctance? Role play? Still probably going to try it but the phrasing is odd to me.
