This song was written by Jinxx, he dedicated this song to his step dad dead in the begging of 2020. During the clip, he played at violin like with his step dad (seemed to be the stepdad's violin) and the acoustic guitar of his mom. Both "Saviour" songs are 'love letters' for the fan base.

Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack said their is going to a part 2 to BVB 6th album The Phantom Tomorrow (2021), saying part 2 is going to a darker and heavier album. “Saviour part 1” is a love letter to fans meaning the band is saying thank you for being fans and giving them an opportunity to be successful and part 2 is a continuation of that for the fans still being fans for over last 10 years plus and to be still successful.
