Thank you for being honest about where you stand with religion. I ran from it because of the people too and honestly that tends to be the reason for most people I’ve talked to that got away from it. My Dad has always said he feels closer to God in the middle of the woods than he ever has in a church and I have always loved/understood that statement. I’ve never once said I don’t believe in God, I’ve prayed my whole life, but what I don’t believe in are the politics created by the people of the church. People may hate me for that, but it is what it is 🤷‍♀️

Over the last 3 years I’ve had 2 chickens die randomly with no known cause visible to the eye…my guess would be disease, sickness, or possibly egg bound. It’s always so sad when you randomly loose one!

I think most Godly woman have a natural desire to serve our families. It’s how He designed us. Since attending a small church this past year and diving into reading my Bible, I have never felt more content, fulfilled and appreciative as I have this last year ❤ I will pray someday you’re able to find a church family, that is very likely filled with SAHM’s and homemakers. I found a beautiful prayer on KZbin from a Christian content creator, I wrote it in an index card and it’s taped to my bathroom mirror and I recite every morning and it’s so grounding, so I would love to share: Dear God, Thank you for the breath in my lungs this morning. Thank you for waking me and giving me another chance at this life. Thank you for nourishment and a roof over my head. I am sorry for anything I take for granted on a daily basis. Please posture my heart to see all the good in today. I pray that you protect me, replacing anxiety with your peace and my worry with joy. I pray for me heart - that it will seek refuge in you before anything else. Let my eyes see and my ears hear you today. Amen. ❤ a fellow Ohioan

Is there any possibility the chickens are getting sick?? That’s the only thing I could think of other than cold. It happened to some of my aunts chickens, apparently some breeds are more prone to some diseases.

Maybe that is why!! Either a disease we didn’t know about or egg bond! Grant thinks she was egg bound and i looked it up. Makes sense. I’ve heard of sudden chicken death too. She was totally fine and then all the sudden not
