I would say that 2023 was a very productive year for the "veterans" with some noteworthy records. Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel are definitely at the top of the year! A few more "veterans' albums" I've singled out: John Cale - Mercy Blaine L. Reininger - Ocean Planet Trevor Rabin - Rio Soft Machine - Other Doors also: London Brew - London Brew Bonnie "Prince" Billy - Keeping Secrets Will Destroy You Lonnie Holley - Oh Me Oh My The Necks - Travel El Michels Affair & Black Thought -Glorious Game I wish you a Happy New Year, Daniel! Great and eclectic list, Daniel! Both you and Peter introduced me to the Lemon Twigs so thank you for that! I am very curious about the new Madness. I didn't know they were still recording. Unfortunately, I’ve only heard the Steven Wilson album this year and the Joe Jackson advance single. I think you had a good 2023 with new records and concerts. I am thinking I probably need the Peter Gabriel i/0. I only bought a few used records in 2023. I instead attended 6 concerts: John Mellencamp, Crowed House, Duran Duran with Nile Rogers, Blondie, Sting, and Sqeeze with the Phychedelic Furs. I also visited Aspen, Colorado for the John Denver Celebration. It was a fun year in music for me also.

I’ve mostly listened to the surround sound mix, which is different again from the dark side & bright side mixes.
