We have crossed over on Pink Me Up, i also didn't care for it until this year, and now really enjoy it. This new serge lutens rose fragrance sounds lovely, might have to check it out. Rose Amira i blind bought this month. . Was feeling very adventurous this month with blind buys. . I do really enjoy it. It's a lovely balance of dark fruits and patchouli on my skin. Only thing is that it doesn't last long at all, which seems unusual compared to what I've heard about it being bold and strong. The scent is beautiful though

@@roseandjones8390 We always meet on the rose territory 😄 Pink me up is just a happy fragrance that pleases me and people around me so an easy grabber for me ^^ Yes I think you could like La fille tour de fer but also Saint-Honoré and Macaron bourbon by Nicolai 😉 I didn't dare a blind buy with Rose amira but I really liked. Was maybe not original enough but still very good. BUT the new Shalimar millésime Jasmin is coming and I'm not sure I could resist a blind buy with this one 😆

So nice to see you, Karine! I love all of your fragrance choices for the summer and hope you had a lovely one. I recently bought a 30 ml of both Saint Honoré and Pavlova and have been really been enjoying them. The Macaron Bourbon wasn't as immediately successful for me for some reason but I'm continuing to test my sample. Loved the video!

@@dcjimr1 Oh I really enjoyed Saint-Honoré. I think it will work really well in colder weather. I'm wearing Macaron Bourbon today. The almond phase doesn't last really long on me but I do enjoy the boozy fruity rose in the dry down. Somehow it reminds me of Lancôme rose fragrances like Parfait de roses or Rose berberenza 🥰 I have not tried Pavlova on skin yet. Sunny days coming this week, that would be the occasion 😁

@@OlfactiveStories Yes, I totally agree! I sprayed some Macaron Bourbon on last night and did get the reference to Roses Berberanza. I liked it better this time. 😊

Totally agree that the exclusives are now a bit thin. Tobacco Vanilla was different and the only one I though was worthy. Too many fragrances at once which are not so special. I am sad about that but the new Shalimar is nice.❤

Merci Karine!! So happy to hear your voice again. l was fortunate enough to sample Iris Medicis recently and agree with your assessment. A superb iris scent, quite reminiscent of high designers in their heyday. Sorry to hear about the leakage trouble! 😬 A prudent decision to move your fragrances. Big fan of Mandarino di Sicilia too. Kinda wish PMC sold a 200 mL now. 😂 Quite a bit missing from my bottle.

@@justaddlight I think Iris medicis easily became an easy grabber for me 😊 That leakage drove me nuts. For sure I didn't want my fragrances to turn bad. I already had enough to deal with 😆

I saw a secondhand Iris Silver Mist up for sale about a month ago but I waited too long to buy it. Just ordered MKK. Gorgeous bottles….now I just need to order a little decanter.

We are going to Paris in March:-)). Is the weather okay then? I lived there for 2 years when I was very young. I don’t think you live in Paris but just curious. Thanks for your content!

@@Lulu-kt6gr Weather tends to change quickly here. You can have sun and rain during the day, it can be cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoon. So I advise you to taker layers that you can easily remove or add during the day. I don't live in Paris but close to Lille in the North, which is basically 1h by train from Paris (our country is not very big ^^).
