No, I never use single use stuff - paper plates, paper napkins, etc! I’m from the very middle of the US and I’m very aware of what we have done to our planet. Jamie, I think you wore little Rupert out - that’s why he slept all night! You two were so cute together. It was also very cute when mommy came home - you could tell he was so happy to see her.

When Roo met Megan after she came home I had tears in my eyes 🥺 This was such a heartmelting moment ❤️ I can't imagine what a feeling it must have been to see this little guy being so incredibly happy to see you. He must love you both so so so much. Jamie manged the weekend amazing! I remember your interview from about last year at this time, when you were asking yourself if you will be able to care for a child and all its needs. Favourite vlog ever doesn't even come close!! How precious to see dad and Rupert send one on one time together. This is the perfect loop vlog for sure!! Very well done Jamie! Some major dad skills at work in this one. To answer the paper plate question...at least in this house...they are for picnics only. But there are a lot of people here that use them on the daily so they don't have to wash dishes and just check them out. Horribly wasteful, but true. Personally, I can't stand them and don't even like them for picnics, but sometimes they're a must have. I'm hoping Lauren is going to let you film the wedding. That would be pure joy to see you singing for them. Another Disney parody in the making perhaps??

Nope, paper plates is not a normal everyday thing in the US, however some people do that tho if they're lazy to do the dishes, some just use them all the time for their kids for easier clean up.

This vlog was cuteness overload. It is easy to see who is boss - Rupert. LOL Paper plater, bowls, etc. - we use them for lunch or snacks. The large ones are good for pizza or hamburgers. They are great for eating at a picnic, using them in the microwave. We have never used them for dinners. I don't care what they say, they just are not strong enough for someone who has cooked a beautiful dinner and have the paper plate flop over. Also for a dinner with other people it is always nice to take the time to use your china or plates. That is all just my opinion and how we use them.

My husband and I switched to paper plates/bowls for each meal every day when our schedules were extremely full. It was a way we could manage our time. Spending less time on dishes and more time on each other. I also store food or leftovers in Ziploc bags. That way bags, plates and bowls go in the trash bin rather than us spending more time cleaning.

This is so sweet! Also on the paper plates thing my dad and grandma (2 separate houses) use paper plates for meals with company over or with out. I’d say the majority don’t do that though. Also with that being said they do have very nice dish sets they just like a fast easy clean up.

I had to stop watching the video just to make this comment. Here in the US many people use paper plates for more then just things like birthday parties or picnics. People use them when they have a large family gathering like a cook out and they don't want to do a lot of dishes. My aunt and uncle use them for lunches when they have family staying for a few days. I have several neighbors who are senior citizens and they use mostly paper plates and bowls so they don't have to do dishes. I use paper plates sometimes. I used one just this morning when I cut up an apple for breakfast.
