Oh my goodness, that is amazing! I am so touched! And what an amazing trip for such young students. I'm sure they made memories for a lifetime. My mother is from Taiwan and I've visited there a few times, but I have yet to make it to China. On my dream list!

Tears to my eyes. There is so much in my childhood to remember. You had sung it so beautfiully and touching. 綠島(Green Island) was a an island for political imprisonment in Taiwan back in 1950s. It is not just a love song of the composer given to his wife. It is collective melancholy of those in pain and suffering of an age.
