Back in the 80s we’d sell our souls to get pirate 12” and play these tracks in parties. Great times, hits would last for months rather than weeks or days like they do nowadays, because good music was hard to get we didn’t have Shazam and it would take weeks for other DJs to find out about the songs, plus a few more to find and purchase the 12” lol. if you had a handful of these hits you’d be DA MAN, everybody would hire you to DJ in their clubs and even the radio.
