"HORTENSE", une des meilleures chansons à succès de NDOMBÉ OPETUM dit PÉPÉ avec l'orchestre AFRISA INTERNATIONAL de TABU LEY. Cette chanson écrite en 1971 avait conquis les mélomanes et propulsé la carrière musicale de son auteur-compositeur, ce beau gosse qui fit rêver plusieurs kinoises et brazzavilloises à la faveur de son charme et de son charisme. HORTENSE est une brazzavilloise, par ailleurs. Cette mélodie langoureuse et entraînante reposait sur les accentuations variées et entraînantes des notes de solo de guitare du talentueux et ingénieux guitariste MICHELINO MVIZI. Celui-ci rejoindra plus tard l'OK JAZZ de LUAMBO MAKIADI dit FRANCO en 1975. NDOMBE OPETUM optera aussi pour le même itinéraire en intégrant l'OK JAZZ la même année, il y écrivit par ailleurs en 1976 la chanson à succès "Voyage na Bandundu" afin de régler, entre autre, ses comptes avec TABU LEY, les deux étant originaires de cette région du Bandundu. Belle reprise et interprétation réussie de FAYA TESS. Félicitations.
