I am anglo-american and love Faye Wong. I do not feel that CNN slighted her in the least. Why do Chinese have to look for problems in every exchange?

that translator is far from "hella shitty." i agree the voices collide rather unpleasantly, but that's CNN's fault. if you meant content-wise, Faye rarely has those neatly-packaged answers in the interviews i've seen with her; at times she seems oblivious to any standards of brevity in the interview world, appearing instead to treat each question as an exploration or a subject for analysis, constantly weighing her own words for resonance with a personal truth that she's feeling out as she goes.
