Great tutorial. I have been making some flowers doing the running stitch & also the rolled rose ...using different laces & fabrics. Tulle looks lovely as the bottom frill & also layered. So quick & easy, even for a newbie like me, & great for confidence-building too. I am going to try the way you did the last black lace one now. TFS

Hey there! you can totally use any kind of lace that is frilly! I just picked this cuz it was available to me! Or if you don't have a frilly lace, try one that has a small scalloped edge vs. a large scallop. If it has scallops on both sides, it would be pretty too. If it's a wide lace, try folding it in half. You'll get a different look using another lace, but it will still be pretty! Hope you try these! Hugs!

beautiful! I managed to buy that fabric ( it's called crystal/twinkle/sparkle organza, depends where you buy it from) in loads of different colours, I have pale pink, blue and green, red, mid blue, lemon, aqua, cream, ivory, white, lilac, mint, lavender, peach, sugar pink, silver, gold, and dark green, blue, burgundy, chocolate and black. now i know what to do with the scraps

Hey! I got that trim at Walmart here in the US. You can try a search under organza ruffle trim. I looked for a bit: I will PM you with the link that I found the closest match with. It has an elastic center but I think it would work. You could also find a single sided ruffle trim. it would work as well. Hope this helps! Hugs!

Hi there! I actually just went and purchased a new glue gun...same one, because I love this one! I got it from Joann's Craft store. It is the SUREBONDER. High temp. It is a blue color. Comes with a stand. Here's the best feature...it has a fine tip nozzle! The tip looks like a tiny metal tube coming out. On the package, they highlight the tip and it says "fine tip nozzle" on it. Cost runs about $12. Hope this helps!

Hey there! Are you talking about the sheer lace....try white organza trim or white ruffled organza or maybe even white ruffled sheer trim/lace. If it doesn't have the trim in the middle, it's OK. It will still work! It needs 2b about 2 inches wide. Let me know if you need help with the other laces! TFW!!! Hugs!!!

@Cindy Tramel the cardstock I use is by Bazzill. But it doesnt matter to me which brand I use as long as it's textured. I never use plain cardstock. DCWV and American Crafts are also other cardstocks I use that has texture. The shape is a scallop punch. I got it either at Joanns or Micheals. Thanx for watching! hugs!
