Well, considering the fact that it’s a wild pig, well it’s kind of a pig. It’s wild game by technicality you can eat game meat. And apparently the meat from a Peccary I believe I remember correctly has kind of smoky earthy flavor and it’s good for you healthier than store bought meat I think

You know, I was always wondering what Javelinas were yeah, it turns out the word Javelina is Spanish for spear and that these things are not true pigs they’re also known as peccary and for some reason are more closely related to rodents and hippopotamuses. I am not making this stuff up. I saw that on two different documentaries, which is weird they’re not part of the pig family, even though they look like pigs, they are most likely from a different ancestor.
