Fazer Comparison - FZS600 vs FZS1000

My personal opinion on the 600 vs 1000 . Im yet to fully use the 1000 but I find the 600 alot more user friendly!

The 600cc is ace. The thundercat engine sounds good with a 200mm exhaust! Absolute screamer!

@@johnberry5339 Basically people aren't aware of the capability n power they have so people think there 'slow' . It doesn't look much so people don't expect much but in reality it's like a rocket, if that makes sense?

@@myyears6289 Thanks for the reply 👍 It all makes perfect sense. I have an 04 Fazer 600 and I have put a deposit down on a 02 Fazer 1000 🏍 I am feeling a bit giddy after your comments. Will the feel and of the ride of the 1000 be miles apart? I think I get 7 days to decide if I like it, plus 3 months warranty 😊🏍🏍🏍 Thanks John 😎🏍

@@johnberry5339 no problems bud . The thousand is heavier but personally feels alot heavier compared to the 600. The power and delivery is perfect (once you get used to it) in terms of handling if it's got a standard shock on it it won't be the best . Alot of people do the (r6/r1) shock conversion. Makes it a heck of alot better and less floaty. Unless your planning on sitting on a motorway with possible pillion then stock is fine just won't feel as positive on the corners. Still goes round well enough. So to finally answer your question its about 20 miles apart , I do believe it's taller compared to 600 but not sure if that's because I've upgraded my dogbones n shock

I've had both. I didn't notice much difference until you go past 100mph. 600 was more agile, but the 1000 is faster. Once I got used to the weight of the 1000 I'm now just as agile on it and wouldn't go back to a 600. Only trouble with the 1000 is it can easily cost you your licence.

I think there's a lot of difference between the 600 -1000 , I have gained a bit more confidence on the thou so will do an updated comparison once I get comfy :D thanks for watching 👌

I had a fzs thou for 7 years, now have a 600 and actually prefer it , more fun and much more chuckable on todays roads.Both great bikes .Just need to use gearbox more on 600.

I think you're blaming the Fazer 1000, for your own failings. I had one and it's still the best handling bike I've ever had after 50 years.

You could be correct . I'm not going to deny that I probably "couldn't" ride it to its ability . Due to my inability. However as stated in the video this is purely my opinion and is non factual . Thanks for watching :)
