i mean... it kinda makes sense that somehow there shoulf be a difference between humans and humunculai but changing blood color makes sense since it's just sudle enough to be missed by someone NOT looking in particular for differences that small

I think i have a theory.. If you know danganronpa, they have pink blood too.. and Monokuma makes sure that the bodies are disposed quickly.. So it means every one from danganronpa are homunculi too..? And remember, it's a theory, i'm not really sure if it's true

@@joannaespiritu Danganronpa is not set in the same world my friend so that is headcanon at best. The blood was pink in Danganronpa specifically because of the psychopop aesthetic the series was going for, and is acknowledged within the world to not actually be pink, the blood even at multiple points being called "red" and "crimson"

I like to think Yuma being number 1 and giving himself amnesia is kind of a meta thing seeing as we ended the last danganronpa game as the ultimate detective and now we’re jumping into this new series starting from scratch but it’s clear we still have mystery solving experience

This is one of the best final bosses in a mystery/detective game. It really feels like a boss battle even it consists much of quicktime events. There´s a lot going on and I love that we see things from Maktoto´s viewpoint while we still control yuma (it can implore to show Makoto´s will of being the hero and the main character). This is also one of the best clone bosses.

I too always suspected Yuma was the real number 1 and Makoto was the mastermind (since he was introduced, that is), but on chapter 3 and 4 I thought maybe he hid his face because he looked like Yuma, like they were from the same family, twins or something. lol I only got the clone/replicant/homunculi thing during the investigation in this one... That there was something wrong with the meat buns was also clear ages ago. Every time someone talked about being addicted or made Yuma buy some or those ads popped up on the walls I started telling myself "Soylent Green is people", then they introduced the homunculi concept and I thought they were feeding Kanai Ward contaminated dead people to turn them into super-soldiers after they died... Didn't really get that right, huh? Didn't think all of them were already homunculi (who ate human flesh) till I saw the doctor get killed on camera, and then became 100% sure when Wendy passed out the second the cloud disappeared. The pink blood thing was wild. The whole game I thought I was misremembering the Chapter 0 victims on the train bleeding red...

Think that is why they specifically had all the victims burned instead. Although the hints were there, like Yuma's blood on the lock, the questions in labyrinths with the scythe and a very subtle one in one of Desuhiko's sprites

Ok so right now I’m at the beginning of the episode, however with the top comment being about pink blood and the fact that they need human flesh to survive. I'm super confused of the ending "Yuma" destroy the mystery labrynth and lost memory of what happened. So the others did die? Fubuki , Desuhiko , Halara and Vivia? What happened to Kirumi?

In the epilogue the other Master Detectives are alive. They were locked in Makoto's room the entire time in chapter 5. Kurumi is also alive

I frankly hoped would prove they were alive, we knew humunculi have *pink* blood, not red. And since the WDO master detectives are not humunculis, they would have red blood. But the bodies we saw had red blood. It was really sad to see it being glossed over here since it would be an AMAZING final counter or when Yuma was in the submarine being all sad and stuff. This ending did not feel enough like we were figuring things out or proving we know the story. It felt all like qte's and kind of shallow rebuttles

tbh I suspected Matoko Kagetsuchi being the master mind bc at the start when yakou furio saved us from peacekeepers he said 3 yrs from when the Story was set, There was never ending rain.And why i suspect matoko? welp he said that he was CEO for around 3 yrs.I don't get why hes been nice to us .Is he trying to copy yakou? This game has taken all sorts of directions, and has turned out to be really good. I still have one more entry for the games comparison’s to the Deadly Sins. What? “Kemix, you already got all seven”, you say? Well, all of my fellow Persona 5 fans know there’s still more, am I right? Plus, why would I exclude Makoto from this list? After all, he seems to have two Deadly Sins going for him: vanity and melancholy. And remember: don’t read if you haven’t watched the whole video and/or don’t want spoilers! Okay? Okay. You could say Makoto masks himself in vanity, literally or not. Having broken himself and Kanai Ward free of Yomi’s vise grip, Makoto makes plans to replace his original and gain enough power over Amaterasu and the WDO to be invincible. When I’m this mindset, he loses sight of his original intents for Kanai Ward and the homonculi therein, focusing instead on grasping power and using his people as an excuse to just do whatever he wants. Sure, the homonculi have every right to live, but his concern for them is diluted by his ambitions and refusal to ask Yuma to help. But the mask he wears shields a deep melancholy. For his existence, for the hell his people will all eventually face, and for the situation around him. Makoto needs help but refuses to ask it, convinced that the UG would just torture his people for their experiments. He even admits before defeat that the situation can’t continue like this, and his sorrow for the odds being stacked against him just for being a homonculus are astronomically high. It’s a real shame, but hopefully with Yuma’s encouragement and extension of goodwill, Makoto can permanently change things for the better. I may have waxed a little too much poetic there, but if you all enjoyed it then that’s good! Anyway, thanks to readers who’ve beared with me and my rants, and I hope you enjoyed this game like I did! See ya la vista!
