After her husband’s death, Mrs. Fazilet and her two daughters maintain a modest life in Istanbul while Fazilet continues to dream of becoming rich. Determined to settle her anger and misery, she uses her daughters on the path to money and fame. If you think about it, it does show that despite knowing that he is not really their blood relative, they (Hazim and Sinan) love and care for Yagiz, which is heartening. Some redeeming qualities...the shades of grey in two otherwise seemingly selfish personalities.

This single hug is everything in the entire drama. Starting from only a minute, and he felt as if somebody has taken the life out of him. The desperation that followed later... the helplessness to save her from whatever she's going through. Meanwhile she... having to be brought back to life again, the first thing that she sees is the man (she has helplessly fallen inlove with) bending towards her with sharpening pain in his eyes. Even after surving the Death itself, they couldn't let go of each other's eyes when they were rescued. And then comes the most magical hug ever. They couldn't even blink whilst walking towards each other... couldn't even see anything else. What's forbidden and what's self control? They didn't know in that moment. They couldn't utter a single word and yet their eyes were screaming to hold each other. Both of them held each other as if they're the only thing they've ever touched. Just him and her.

A hug can mean so much when you are in the arms of the guy you love. His embrace is safety, your home. They didn't care about any of them, they didnt even notice them. It is like they only existed in this word at that hug scene. Yagiz had to embrace her again tighther, relieved that she is now safe with him. He was like a little kid whose doll has been taken when fazilet came and took hazan away.

There was a blessing in disguise in the near-death experience.. it broke the barriers of shame and duty between the two of them, and pulled out what was inside. Afterwards they couldn't think of anything but each other, couldn't see anyone except each other, didn't want to touch and hold anyone but each other. Something sacred in that moment made even Fazilet hesitate to interrupt.. it would be like disturbing a symphony in between.

Thing is Yağız liked her from the very beginning. Yes he was rude and shamed her. But after that he saw the truth. At some point he became obsessed with finding out everything about her. I think he wanted to be proved wrong. And he definitely regrets their first encounter. But hatred becomes love. He may have disliked her at the start but that was because he liked her deep down. Sinan just liked the idea of making Nil jealous me and his popularity mattered to him more. He’s a player and always will be.

Even after hearing that Yagiz is in danger, Hazim refused to call the police. Without the police they could have done nothing - those two would definitely have been killed. So Hazim was ok with Yagiz dying rather than finding out the truth? This just gets weirder.

@@tehanisaighal4375 The strange thing is that he doesn't really do anything - his crimes are crimes of omission. Not caring for Yagiz enough, not telling him about his birth, not handling Sinan's and Selin's mental problems, not calling the police or the doctor or the psychiatrist when required. Just goes to show that sometimes not taking essential steps can be just as dangerous as taking the wrong steps.

Yes this shows some dichotomy in his character...he is worried about Yagiz as can be seen in his anxious concern but perhaps not as much as he is interested in safeguarding secrecy of his past actions.
