Braylen Stegner cool they had a very good team so chances are your dad was a good player. Jared was amazing! They beat us in the third round of the playoffs and I was just stunned how big he was. I was a good size linebacker 6’2 210 lbs but he just dwarfed me and was very athletic. God bless him he left the earth to soon

I grew up in Texas, so naturally I grew up as a longhorn fan, but as a really young kid, Kentucky was the first team I ever became a real fan of. Jared lorenzen was my favorite player. Looking back he’s still probably one of my all time favorite college players if not my favorite. Ironically I probably hold him just behind Tim Tebow. Lol

I was born and bred in Louisville, KY but, I live in TX now. You guys obviously know your football out here. While it's hard to argue against Tebow being above Jared, look at the team's they were on. Not knocking my beloved Wildcats but, it is what it is. #22 will live on forever, no matter the circumstances.

Still remember watching a game with him and my dawgs going out it. Greene was our qb at the time I believe and from the score at the end defense was optional for both teams. Think we won at the end but it was a ridiculous display of offense. Just remember my dad screaming “why can’t we stop his big ass!”

A very unique player. I mean in his prime he was this big hoss...6'4 or 6'5. around 280. Sure you had big QB's before...but never anyone I can remember over 260 or so (Leftwich I recall was a huge guy too) Lorenzen looked like a big TE playing QB but his weight got out of control post retirement

Yeah no arm strength whatsoever, could throw it 65 yards on his knees and is top 10 in almost every SEC passing category all time. Played 7 years in the NFL. Terrible.
