for the hypo cement I have seen some people use a dense makeup sponge and push the tip into it rather than keep trying to put the cap on. The sponge is dense so the glue will not dry out and you can use the cap for getting knots out of your thread.

How would you start and finish this without a clasp?

When I do bead crochet, my chain seems to twist as I go, so the beads don't line up in a nice straight line. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?
