Thanks people, top knotch advice and I'm on with it as of now. I work for social housing who swap out dozens of boilers a week and guess what No auto balance valves , no range rating , no opentherm or load compensation or weather comp........the manager needs locking up

Thanks for sharing. My idea was to have a programmer on the high limit stat so it can run at 50°C and once a week run at 60°C. If we could program the boiler to run hotter once a week then that sorts the problem. I'm still learning, just sharing an idea ;)

I went to college in Holland in 2007 and my tutor told me that boilers would run at 90% efficiency. However, in Germany, they changed the calculations because of the returns from condensing making out the boiler 107% efficient. Many organisations would be impressed by this so they would be able to sell more boilers meeting energy efficiency demands. Kind of like the emission scandal from Volkswagon. I've only just found these videos but I'm going through them all and will be sharing them on my channel and with other plumbers in the industry. Thanks for sharing, we needed this.

No confirmed dates as of yet. Keep and eye out for our improved implementation of OpenTherm coming later on in the year.
