What was the specific crime? What did he do? Who did he kill? What was the plan? Every county in the U.S. has one or more homes like this with explosives and complete "arsenals". So are they at risk of being arrested for just owning things? Just because you own certain things does not make you a terrorist. Meanwhile at the time of this comment we still don't know anything about the nut in New Orleans that killed all those people. But we are assured that was not a terrorist. Probably a freedom fighter for the government from their perspective. I grew up in a place where massive amounts of ammunition was expended nearly every weekend for fun. And there were people around that liked to blow stuff up. Just owning these things does not make you a terrorist. If that is the case then we have to start looking at government agencies as terrorist organisations. They own way more of this kind of material than any local in the community. And although I haven't looked at the numbers I would still be willing to bet that those government agencies have killed more people than this man. Of course they are the "good guys". So it doesn't matter who they kill.

I don't agree the judge should have let him go with an ankle monitor considering this Rob D'Amico said this man has been practicing over time to make this many explosives and lost 3 fingers, without knowing he could have stock piles in other locations. This interviewee, Rob D'Amico, is a assuming a lot of crap without hard-core evidence on "this" specific case. The tragic killings in New Orleans today, the FBI took over and the assigned FBI agent there said that this New Orleans killings was not a terrorist act. How could this "not" be a terrorist act when this man purposely plowed his truck into a large group of people at 3AM ON NEW YEAR'S DAY and killed 10, for now, and injured 20+ people sent to various hospitals, and had bombs in his truck, and shot at the police!?! This is a terrorist act! I don't figure how this decision, not a terrorist act, was made by FBI agent to come to this decision as to this mass killings is NOT terrorist act!

I see 37mm flares which are perfectly legal to own not 'pipe bombs'. It's also perfectly legal to hold antigovernment beliefs and target shoot at the likeness of anyone or thing you like. As for the short-barreled rifle they didn't show the butt stock. If it is a fixed stock it would be considered a brace and would be classified a perfectly legal pistol but since they declined to show us that part who knows. With a lousy attorney he'll be spending little to no time in jail.
