@@PJ_Perry IL resident and I fell your pain. The IL AG has decreed that "The 2A does not apply to semi autos." He doesn't cite a court ruling or anything. Just pulled that one out of his butt. However our anti gun and morbidly obese Gov. donated millions to get much of the IL supreme court elected so they all do his bidding. Sounds like a conflict of interest but the IL SC claims they looked into it and everything is legit. I wish I could afford to leave the state but not surprisingly my house is nearly worthless. because it is in IL.

I actually did used to recommend a 4 inch .38 revolver for older folks (especially ladies) who clearly did not have the hand strength to work a slide on your normal auto pistol. I had a reliable gunsmith who knew how to reduce revolver trigger pull without compromising reliability. That's changed with the new S&W E-Z pistols which are a really nice option now. I never recommended snubbies though :)

The EZs have been supplanted by the Equalizer. It's basically a 9mm EZ with better slide cuts, optic ready, better grip texture, and take Shield Plus mags (they come with a 10, 13, and 15 round mag, plus a Uplula loader!)

If the judge just said that's unconstitutional that the government can tell those businesses you're not allowed to have, they can't have those guns in there or I cannot walk in there and have that gun.
