Paris is "The Mother Of Fashion" and the best fashion capital of elegance, style, beauty in the world. in fact, without France you will never see any kind of modern fashion nowadays. The French are the people who invented the fashion and gave it to the world. that is why you see these days all the fashion that is based on the Parisian idea especially from the 60's with every single designer nowadays who copy the French design and implement it into their ideas. we should never forget the greatest three designers in history of fashion (Christian Dior, Ive Saint Laurent and Coco Chanel) etc... these are the creators and the gods of modern fashion. every single designer must follow them when studying fashion & design. the rest of fashion capitals have definitely NO significance on the fashion industry like the giant best fashion capital of the world which is "Paris".

Actually, it's Yves ! And because fashion is first of all couture, you can't quote Monsieur Dior. There were Cristobal Balenciaga, Gabrielle Chanel, and finally Yves Saint Laurent. That's all ! And, in my opinion, Balenciaga is the true king because he had, inter alia, perfected the silhouette and the line and, in particular the shape and the move of the sleeve, and created with the famous swiss weaver Abraham new materials, like the silk gazar and the super gazar at the end of the 50's which could make possible new shapes & curves. Yves Saint-Laurent thought further the inspiration in his collection, and had succeed to bind major arts to the art, that is not, fashion. His romantic spirit and his vision of the modern woman truly changes the human style society, and more, gave to the women, a new power, like Coco Chanel did forty years before. After those, Christian Dior can be named. But after all, even if he had a great vision of the woman, they mainly bring back a femininity after the second war, a femininity that Gabrielle Chanel did already sweep for a true modern one. without corsets and crinolines, to free the woman. Every single designer do not have to follow them, every single designer must follow his time, first of all. Feel desires of women and men around him, and build them of wool, cotton, leather, silk and more...

yes, the machinery and the technical ability is based in paris thanks to the ¨big ones¨ but talent comes from everywhere, just look how many designers are not french nowadays, and also the concept of paris as an fashion capital where a very intelligent political-economic decision from the french government, they construct what we now nowadays as a fashion capital not because only paris conceive the best designers
