The game has gone to selling packs. There’s no point in playing champs. The real grind now is to slave away at a real job and spend your paycheck on packs. It’s ridiculous. I’m no 20-0 player. I was the same way until I packed some of the best players in the game and they didnt change my results. Connection and tactics make the most difference. I Just use the most meta CBs and the rest of the players dont really make a difference. Once you realize this, you'll be free from the pack opening addiction. Another tip, if you really want to pack the best players, take 1 or 2 week breaks and dont open any packs. Then come back and start playing and open packs. The reward system has been set up that way. If you play often, you get mediocre rewards.

You spend hours, if someone quits at a draw, you wasted your time, if you spend hours in the game to get a players, you'll get shit all, then you also spend hours to WORK and spend money for packs. Game play is absolutely AWFUL! I have never played a game with such delay and slow menus and servers disconnecting so frequently. It’s flat out embarrassing for a billion dollar company to operate game like this. Patch after patch that just wallpapers over cracks - they try and "fix" something a break even more. You know whats weirder. I STRUGGLED this weekend league as well. I couldn't put my finger on it but my opponents were quicker, more agile, better through balls and my players who I usually get 10-13 wins with were mudded. Turns out (happens often) my online match settings had been switched back to crossplay despite me checking before starting weekend league that it was turned to off and checking again after the second game it was off (i was 2 wins at that point) then it went down hill. Check again after getting 9 wins and boom it was switched to crossplay.

I think the main difference comparing this game to other game communities is how individualistic this community is. I think getting good gameplay only in the morning hours is due to ea sports not having enough servers. Server overload is always the problem from 8am to 11pm. If they had enough servers gameplay would be good at anytime

Edit: you are right about gameplay in pc in comparison with ps, i had a start up team on pc that my ps team would dominate it. But still i can play normal fifa less stutter gameplay on pc.

your point about the menu grind is so funny cause that is exactly how Japanese Gacha games work where the gambling on special cards is the main focal point rather than gameplay itself. Fifa is basically a gacha game

Hey bro, honestly been following you for a couple years. You have opened my mind on this game. I’ve spent money but then came to a sense that it’s not worth it. The only reason I play (much less than before) is to build teams base on what I get from objective packs. I don’t even get mad or angry at the game anymore. I play for fun with my favorite players and favorite teams in each country. Only good thing is Evo that keeps me play with my fav players. I agree with everything you have said. My advice is don’t not let this shit affect you mentally, not worth it. Just play, do your amazing job and laugh at this shit lol

It is even worse in Africa! Kwasia game sei. At least 8 disconnects every week. Bro players can't dribble or move mannn. I literally have to compensate for the game all the time. The finishing is even worse this year. Warra game EA!
