I've essentially been playing with precision passing for years. Play with the trainer on with mechanics only, put ground pass, through ball and crosses on semi-assisted and lob passes on manual. Vwallah! Precision passing.

We only have L1 / Lt over top through balls or the R1/rt lobbed ball thag can be used at a through ball or cross

They have removed Driven Lobbed through passes and replaced with this precision passes. You have to use this manual type of passing for driven lobbed throughs from now on

Seems like it involves less skill since the computer is adjusting it for the player. Before you had to decide whether or not to use a driven through ball or over the top or over the top through ball

It's more conplicated, let me tell you why. In order for these to work at a top level, you 1st need to trully master the technique which requires a lot of practe + you will need certain players with high passing stats, those players will be able to squeze the ball through and avoid interception.
